Dental Health

Sometimes, little smiles can face unexpected bumps in the road. Here are some common reasons why a visit to our Ceres pediatric dental office might be needed sooner rather than later:

When Little Teeth Need Extra TLC:

Tooth Pain +
We never want your child to experience tooth pain! If your little one has a consistent toothache, it could be a sign of something that needs our attention. We're here to help figure out what's causing the discomfort and get them feeling happy and comfortable again.
Pulp Therapy +
The dental pulp is located in the interior cavities and root canals of a tooth and contains tissue, nerves, and blood vessels. It is integral to the normal development of a tooth. When the pulp is exposed or inflamed, it can cause pain and infection. Pulp therapy focuses on maintaining the tooth’s health and the integrity of the supporting tissues.
Traumatic Dental Injuries +
Did your little explorer take a tumble? If your child has experienced a dental injury, don't worry – Ceres Pediatric Dentistry is here to help! If possible, gently save any pieces of the tooth, and call us right away so we can work on restoring their precious smile.
Swelling or Abscesses +
If you notice any swelling in your child's mouth or suspect an abscessed tooth, it's important to speak with our dental professionals in Ceres right away. We want to ease that discomfort and get your child back to feeling 100% healthy and smiling brightly!
Chipped or Broken Teeth +
Just like with injuries, chipped or broken teeth can be painful and lead to further problems if not addressed quickly. If your child has chipped or broken a tooth, please contact Ceres Pediatric Dentistry for immediate care.
Knocked-Out Tooth +
This can be a scary situation! If your child's tooth gets knocked out, the best thing to do is to gently rinse the tooth with water. If you can, try to carefully place it back in the socket. If not, put it in a container of milk and bring it to our Ceres office immediately. Time is crucial for the best chance of saving the tooth!

At Ceres Pediatric Dentistry, we're dedicated to providing gentle and effective care for all your child's oral health needs. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns or if your child experiences any of these issues. We're here to help their smiles stay happy and healthy!
